I enjoyed it too...I thought some of the concepts provoked really interesting thoughts. Again, analyzing it was a PAIN, but...You know. It IS AP.

Yes...generally I get along with Sean, but his nuking Africa idea really bugs me - probably because if I do PeaceCorps, that's where I want to go.

Hey- I enjoyed that book. I didn't enjoy -analyzing it, but on the whole I thought it was interesting. XP

although- you caught me just a few hours before I changed my sig... and hopefully my ID too.

Oh, btw- I get annoyed with Sean too, sometimes. I don't think nuking Africans is good, lol. Just thought i'd clarify.

See it doesn't bother me too much - but I agree with you about the style. It just goes all over the place...But that seems to be a specialty of Toni Morrison, doesn't it? I mean, look at The Bluest Eye. It's ALL OVER THE PLACE! And the end is truly bizarre...Anyway. I think I would like reading all of this more if I didn't have to think so DARN HARD about stuff like symbolism and theme and whatnot. *Sigh*. I'm only on the second chapter of GOST right now, and I think it's pretty weird too. And twincest? (I was wondering if it was coming...) Blergh. How charming.

Yeah, I have a lot left to go. Crap.

AGH!! GOOD FOR YOU! I GOT A 4 TOO!!!!

What did you think of beloved?

You know that saying, 'you always hurt the one your love'? well, it works both ways.

I've never NEEDED an excuse (though I'll remember that one). I'd happily go out with a boy. Because, um, yeah. Snogging = teh bestest. I'll get over my grades going down.

I TOTALLY MISSED THAT MATCH!!! I was on a plane when they were playing and all I kept hearing aobut was the match. URGH! And then I missed the final game, darnit! (Also on a plane.)

Crabbiness.

Oh, and I HATE summer reading. :(
~Sharkly17Shogun:iconSharkly17Shogun: Jun 28, 2006, 8:52:14 PM
well, if you really want an excuse for not dating or whatnot, go with "I need to get straight-A's". because once you get a boytoy, your grades go down. all that matters is snogging. because snogging is good. amazing. divine. etc.
And PORTUGAL PLAYS DIRTY!!!! WTF! If they hadnt cheated the whole match, Holland would have skooled them. PORTUGAL CHEATS!

Doesn't she just make you want to hang yourself? After torturing her? I mean...COME ON!!! She's SUCH A MORON!!! All this drivel about how superior humans are...GAWD it makes me nauseous. She just...BLACH.
So I'm with you - I definitely think that South America is going to have the victory. The Angola match with Mexico was great to watch, and their players are great, but I still bet that South America's going to come out on top...We'll see. And you know, the US just isn't that great. Everywhere else soccer/football is this huge deal, and in the States it just isn't such a big deal. I mean - there are people watching it, but it's all in Spanish at my house, and Je ne parle pas l'espagnol.
I couldn't tell you why I haven't had a relationship yet - I'm still holding out that I'm a reject, but...Who knows.

First, Anne Coulter makes me want to kill myself. After killing her. After torturing her. After replacing her entire face with the buttcheeck of an elephant infected by dyssentry. Nuff' said.
And of course I'm watching the world cup cracker! I have my money on Brazil. Or Argentina. South America is coming out the victor regardless. I also really hope Angola does well, because their match against Mexico was amazing. Amazing. Their goalie is like god with cool gloves. I dont even hear the commentators. I feel bad I'm not rooting for my own country, but our team kinda blows.
Italy should have done better.
I'm also amazed you havent had a relationship yet. Forwhy?

Not for people who have never been in them. (I'll let you know when I've been in a relationship and have gotten out of it, EXACTLY what my opinion is, never you fear.) So have you been watching any World Cup? Mostly, the commentators make me want to go insane.

And have you been following any of the Ann Coulter madness?!
